Goal Setting Sheet – Sarah’s Instructions!
Instructions: Define 3 goals for the next 90 days. They should be bigger than anything you’ve accomplished before. Or they should be removing obstacles that will allow you to significantly move you closer to your goals.
In the Why column, make this relevant. It must hurt or be really exciting. If not, don’t bother with it because it’s probably not a game changer for you.
In the Who column, list the people you need to tell about this goal or whose participation you need in order to complete it. Adding a professional to your team? Expanding your network? Asking a mentor, coach or accountability partner? Once I told my friends I couldn’t hang out for 30 days because I was in crunch time with a new business strategy.
In the Sacrifice column, list what you are willing to give up or forgo in order to complete this amazing life-changing goal. Sometimes I’ll sacrifice sleep and health, but note that it’s for a very short time. Also list what you are NOT willing to sacrifice such as health or time with kids.
Finally, the Reward column – this should be something exciting and meaningful to you that you don’t normally get. The results should be as specific as possible with numbers or dates.
